The Milwaukee hip hop scene is definitely not a boy’s club, and Tiny C is one of the latest female artists to prove that with her new mixtape, “Insomnia”. With eleven tracks full of swagger, the project is solid from front to back, and serves as a great introduction to those that haven’t heard her before. This is Tiny C’s second project in the last few months, serving as a quick follow up to her “NoPadNoPen” mixtape that was released earlier in the year. Features from Reefa400, Jay 2Gone, King Myles, and Reo Mac accent her verses, but for the most part, the spotlight is on Tiny. As you can hear from her flow, and see in her work rate, Tiny C is looking to make moves within the Milwaukee hip hop scene, and projects like “Insomnia” are just the start of where she’s trying to head.
