AUDIO: Ben Wagner – “After The War”

On any given night, you may hear Ben Wagner performing in a bar or coffee shop around southeastern Wisconsin. The young singer/songwriter has a wide arsenal of songs, including some bar favorite covers at his disposal, but also is making strides to get his solo work out to the masses. One of those new originals is “After The War”, a well-developed single with a rustic feel to it. “After The War” is one of a handful of tracks Wagner recorded in Nashville recently, with the help of a referral from a former producer with credits spanning the likes of Joe Cocker and Kenny Chesney under his belt. The song is centered around Wagner’s acoustic guitar and voice, but builds up tremendously as the song progresses. The single recently received a Top 40 placement from the Nashville Songwriter’s Association International (NSAI), and things are looking incredibly bright for the future.
