Amongst the many names looking to break out of the crowded Milwaukee hip hop scene is Yvng Jay, who has a strong single with his latest release, “Rockstar”. Not to be confused with a mainstream track of the same name, Yvng Jay’s release has a very pop-influenced sound to it as well, with a melodic flow present throughout the track. The production from Sincerely Chico is on point, and the potential is there for the two to collaborate on some much bigger things in the future. It’s been a while since we’ve gotten a proper project from Yvng Jay, but he has dropped a single per month for about half of this year.
