If you ask the internet about Milwaukee music, you’re likely to hear the name Mari Boyz sooner than later. While the group makes a hybrid of pop and hip hop, drawing from contemporary influences, the individual members are known to put out solo releases, as well. That catalog of work recently expanded with Mariboy KP’s newest release, a Teeglazedit-directed video for “Letter To My X”. A different side of what we might normally see from the group all together, the track takes the more reflective approach than most, with KP bringing some melodic verses to the track.
