AUDIO: Simon Mustafa – “Above It All”
A flurry of young talent is claiming the Milwaukee hip hop scene for their own, and Simon Mustafa is one of the names looking to work their way to the top. The UWM student just put a big footprint in the ground, however, with his latest EP, “Above It All”. With production coming from CameOne, Vertical, and Ben Kermgard, the beat selection is crafted around Mustafa’s delivery, which sound determined throughout the project. Within the course of seven tracks, you can hear the hunger from Mustafa, which is refreshing to see from a local artist. With no features, this project serves as an introduction to his music, as well as a solidification in his own city as a new name.
