AUDIO: AWillThaGreat – “Portraits”
As he proved last night on stage at our “An Evening With” show, AWillThaGreat has the potential to be a top tier name in Milwaukee hip hop, and his new album, “Portraits” is definitely going to put him within that status. The new project, released via Vogel Park, is ten tracks of well-produced, well-crafted hip hop, with AWillThaGreat effortlessly demonstrating his artistry in a major way. The only feature comes courtesy of Donte Tidmore on lead single “Insecurity”, which is fine, because AWill is able to command your attention on his own throughout the release. “Portraits” further solidifies AWillThaGreat and Vogel Park in Milwaukee hip hop, and it will be very interesting to see where they’re at by this time next year based off of the groundwork that this album is laying.
