We’ve known King Cezar since the Milwaukee artist first started making music, and while he’s still an emerging name in the city, the quality of his music has progressed as the years have gone on. On his latest single, “Elevate”, Cezar looks back on those early days, as well as where he’s headed in the future. The track uses a minimalist beat from Taz Taylor to underscore the determination that you can still hear in Cezar’s delivery from his early releases on.
