Brooklyn-by-way-of-Oklahoma artist Mothica is gearing up for the release of her second EP, “Heavy Heart”, and recently shared the first single from the release, “Sometimes”. The track marries pop music melodies with characteristics of underground EDM, and the two blend very well to create something unique to Mothica’s style. This mixture of styles has tremendous potential for heavy rotation from indie radio stations, and fans of both mainstream and underground pop can find something to groove to on the track. This has a very late-night feel to it, and would be perfect for a summer nighttime cruise downtown.
