With booming vocals, catchy synth parts, and a variable plethora of trippy individual parts, the latest single from Austin’s The Cuckoos will have you floating on cloud nine. “Mind Breakthough” is the band’s second single from their upcoming debut EP, and evokes the spirit of Jim Morrison with the sound of contemporary psych. The band has been making noise in Austin for around three years, including recently playing South by Southwest, but are continuing to grow and evolve musically with their new release. While the band has yet to fully make their mark on the world, you can check them out for the first time with “Mind Breakthrough” below:
