AUDIO: Local-Mu12 – “Everyday People”

After a couple of singles, New York City based hip hop collective Local-Mu12’s album is complete and available to the public, and features a whole host of talent. By our count, 22 different artists are featured, including a host of names that hip hop heads can get excited about, including Ras Kass, Sadat X, and many more. Among those names is Milwaukee’s Dana Coppafeel, who is no stranger to feature-heavy projects (see 2010’s “The Feature” mixtape). Coppa appears on four tracks on the project, “All We Got”, “Hood Rich”, “Overtime”, and “Tryna Live”, making for a variable mini EP from the Uni-Fi Records emcee. Overall, the mentality of “Everyday People” is that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and that’s definitely the case here. As a project, the album is a finished puzzle, comprised of 22 different parts that lock in and connect one another fluently. Check out “Everyday People” below:
