While we have many young solo artists coming up in Milwaukee, there’s definitely less groups than there used to be. Enter Y&G, which stands for Young & Gifted, who recently put out their latest single, “Private Party”. The track features Y&G artists Johnny Cage, Zae Curry, and Liam Tatum, and showcases the sound of the collective. While there is definitely some influence from contemporary pop/hip hop crossovers, Y&G look to create their own style, and all three artists show that they have a natural ability to create a melodic flow.
