Long Island indie duo The Glazzies recently premiered a video for their newest single, “Spill”, and you’ll be yearning for the days of early 90’s alternative by the time the track is over. The song, as well as the video, are both energetic, and wonderfully primitive, drawing up nostalgia for some of the first glimpses that the public ever saw of bands that became alt-rock mainstays. The Glazzies don’t have to be overly complex to be endearing, as they know how to pack a punch with fuzzy guitar lines and strong vocal tones, and this is a prime example of that sound working well. “Spill” is from the band’s “Kill Me Kindly” LP, which was recently released on Old Flame Records.
