The duo of Kid Millions and Sage Schwarm, better known as The Sounds of Time to some, are known for creating old-school, synth infused hip hop. There’s a boatload of funk, and even some disco tossed into the blender as well, but the end result definitely invokes the nostalgia of a simpler time in music. The Sounds of Time bring that energy back to the forefront on all of their work, including the latest, “Taping Over” which also features A.P.R.I.M.E., who has a flare for classic hip hop, as well.
