15 minutes isn’t a lot of time to tell the story of Milwaukee’s youth, especially in difficult times like the current day, but Ar Wesley manages to do so exceptionally in his latest EP, “Time is Millmatic”. With only three tracks, Wesley still gets to show you life from his perspective. The lyrics match the dramatic cover, with open discussion of how real it can get in the inner city. Wesley’s flow is matched by features from fellow Milwaukee spitters Von Alexander and Reggie Bonds, each adding their own pieces to the complicated puzzle. Hopefully releases like this can instill just a little bit of change on the tough Milwaukee streets. Listen to “Time is Millmatic” here:
