If you’ve never had a chance to check out F. Stokes, you’re in for something special. On many occasions, I’ve been blown away by the talent and originality that the Madison native brings to the table. This time around, there’s an homage to the music videos that we all grew up on, with a throwback flare to “The Slums”. However, beyond the intentionally retro scenes, there’s a message to show the world what life was like growing up. Whether you take this at face value and check out the song with the throwback look, or listen to the context of the track, you’ll enjoy it.
