Prozpect may be a name to place on your hip hop radar. Just before the end of January, he dropped his latest EP, “Parallax”. The whole project is full of smoothed out tracks that Prozpect gets to finesse his way through, and he does so with ease. With heavy trap influences, the production is full of bass-heavy beats with manic percussion. With a solid musical foundation, Prozpect doesn’t try to do too much with the beat. Instead, he lets his lyrics breathe, and in doing so creates an even smoother final product than the beat can provide. This thing is definitely worthy of putting on next time you’re in the car.
