This week’s Milwaukee Artist of the Week spotlight is a well deserved one, because we’re focusing on The Saltshakers. Saturday night, the band will be celebrating 10 years as a band at BBC on North. In addition to that, they’ll be releasing a new EP, “Halley” as well. With their experience, playing in and around the Milwaukee area for a decade, the band has polished their sound and live show into a very solid set. That experience comes out in the title track to “Halley”, which the band has already released on their new website. Make sure you check the Saltshakers out on Saturday, when they’ll be playing with other local staples The Delta Routine and Ikarus Down. You’ll get a free copy of “Halley” at the show, too.
