AUDIO: Foreign Kidd – “Late Summer”

In a city full of artists looking to make a name for themselves, Foreign Kidd has begun to  establish a following for himself within the underground rap community. On his latest, “Late Summer”, he’s able to take that initial buzz and when many would continue to keep the energy up as high as possible, he chooses to create a more developed project. Yes, there are still more up-tempo tracks like “Vibe” and “All I Know” featuring YBN Dougie, but the majority of the songs on the album have a more composed feel to them where Foreign Kidd shines. A host of features including YBN Kenny, Gorjis, Booda Booo, C Bandz and more make this a showcase of the unique sounds coming largely out of the north side. We’ll see where this takes Foreign Kidd in the scope of Milwaukee’s music scene, but this project will definitely get new listeners in the streets. Check out “Late Summer” below:

VIDEO: Stiffy Goddamit & Finesse Featuring Foreign Kidd – “22 Bandz”

There’s music coming out of the North side of Milwaukee at a rapid rate, and it seems as though new singles are showing up just about daily. One of the latest singles to make some noise is Stiffy Goddamit & Finesse’s collaboration with Foreign Kidd for “22 Bandz”. The track, produced by Emazon, features a melodic hook, and there’s definitely some mainstream influences when it comes to the verses, as they’re full of the same swagger that you would expect to see from a major label artist. The TeeGlazedIt visuals for the song feature Stiffy, Finesse, and Foreign Kidd taking it from the kitchen to the basement to the car, and there’s plenty of money to go around. According to Stiffy, there’s some major collaborations waiting in the wings, so we’ll keep our eye out for more coming soon. In the meantime, check out the “22 Bandz” below:
