After a full summer of anticipation, Genesis Renji’s new album, “Keefe” is finally here. The album is ten tracks, exclusively produced by Cade Zube, and Renji calls it some of his most personal work to date. Genesis brings plenty of people along for the ride as well, with features from a host of Milwaukee artists, including Velly Slums, Nile, Von Alexander and Ms. Lotus Fankh. There’s also a posse cut in “Porch Raps” that is a can’t miss, with a feature from Mickey Factz as well. It’s clear that every bit of attention to detail went into “Keefe”, and we’ve come to expect that from everything the House of Renji puts together. While we’ve gotten a lot of great work from Genesis Renji, “Keefe” feels different from the second you put it on. Check out the new album here:
