AUDIO: Bad Mongos – “Shoot The Bullet”

Spanish punks Bad Mongos hadn’t really made a name for themselves in the United States with their initial run near the dawn of the millennium, but after a twelve-year hiatus, the group is out to make noise with their new album, “Shoot The Bullet”. The band has reformed, and their new release is thirteen tracks of in your face, straight up rock and roll. Citing influences from The Ramones to Turbonegro, and everywhere else in between, the album feels incredibly punk from the moment you press play. “Shoot The Bullet” is currently available via Spanish label BCore Disc, or you can stream the entire project below:

AUDIO: The Penny Cocks – “Fake Gold and Broken Teeth”

Barcelona punks The Penny Cocks recently put out their second LP, “Fake Gold and Broken Teeth” on Spanish label BCore Disc, and it’s a release that is definitely worth your attention. With an overdose of energy, the album calls upon everything from punk to  50’s pop, to straight up rock and roll, and is a relentless stream of punk rock angst. Quite simply, you’ll be blown away by the pace that the band sets for themselves on each track, and wonder how it’s possible to carry songs like these over to a live set. From start to finish, this is a solid rock record, and the band behind it may very well become a major name to watch for in the future. This is the type of record that you can fall in love with, and we encourage you to do so. Get introduced to The Penny Cocks here by streaming the record below:
