Swedish AOR-worshipping hard rockers NESTOR are keeping the ’80s dream alive — and this time, they’re doing it live and in flames. The band has just dropped a scorching live rendition of “Firesign,” complete with a blazing new music video, as the latest single from their forthcoming live album Live at Gothenburg Film Studios, out August 14 via Napalm Records.

Originally featured on Nestor’s 2021 debut Kids in a Ghost Town — the record that earned them a Swedish Hard Rock/Metal Grammis Award nomination — “Firesign” has always been a highlight of the band’s live set. The new live cut captures exactly why: chugging riffs, larger-than-life choruses, keyboard sparkle, and vocals that sound like they were beamed in from a sold-out arena circa 1987. In other words, it’s everything you want from a Nestor track, cranked up several notches by the electricity of a live audience.
