Grab your red pens and your wallets, horror hounds — San Diego Comic-Con is about to get a whole lot bloodier, thanks to a killer collaboration between Life of Agony bassist Alan Robert and horror maestro Eli Roth.

Robert, the acclaimed artist and author behind the bestselling The Beauty of Horror coloring book series, has illustrated an exclusive limited-edition print celebrating Roth’s upcoming film Ice Cream Man. The artwork was commissioned by Insight Editions and The Horror Section to commemorate Roth’s newly announced publishing partnership with Insight Editions — a deal that will roll out a fresh line of horror-inspired books in 2027, ranging from fiction and illustrated stories to interactive formats and collectible editions.

Fans attending SDCC can score the exclusive Ice Cream Man print during Eli Roth’s signing appearance at the Insight Editions Booth (#2129) on Friday, July 24, from 5–6pm. Even better? Every print is dual-signed. Although Robert is currently overseas tearing up stages across Europe with Life of Agony, he signed the prints in advance so each piece carries both his and Roth’s signatures — a collector’s dream, and a slasher-worthy flex.

“When Eli Roth asks you to create artwork for a movie about an ice cream truck turning kids into homicidal maniacs, you don’t ask questions… you immediately grab your red pens,” Robert said. “Ice Cream Man is twisted in all the right ways, and it’s been a blast bringing that insanity to the page.”

He added, “I’ve been really fortunate to collaborate with the amazing team at Insight Editions on some incredible horror properties over the years, and it’s an honor to add another unforgettable nightmare to that list. I hope this is just the beginning, because I’d love to explore more of Eli’s wonderfully deranged world.”

Robert is no stranger to the horror publishing arena. His previous Insight Editions collaborations include officially licensed projects for Beetlejuice, Universal Monsters, and The Conjuring — a resume that reads like the guest list at a very haunted house party.

Ice Cream Man follows a quiet suburban neighborhood as it descends into unimaginable terror when a mysterious ice cream vendor’s frozen treats turn local children into homicidal killers. Consider it the anti-summer movie of the summer. The film scoops into theaters exclusively on August 7.
