Just when you thought the summer couldn’t get any sweatier, Dublin house duo Obskür have dropped a proper dancefloor grenade. “Look Into My Eyes,” out now via Disorder / Capitol Records, is exactly the kind of peak-time weapon designed to melt a festival tent at 2 a.m. — and it turns out, that’s basically how it was born.

Built around the instantly recognizable sample from Walker & Royce’s “Connected,” the track leans into everything Lorcan and Faustas have become known for: rolling, hypnotic house grooves, a hooky vocal loop that lodges itself in your brain on first listen, and that unmistakable big-room energy that has quietly turned Obskür into one of house music’s most reliable hit-makers.

The origin story is charming in the way only club culture can be. “We initially made this track as an opener/intro for District X in Ireland — closing any festival is special, but closing one at home, we thought we should make something for that moment specifically,” the duo explained. “We went back-to-back with Max Dean that night and he was nice enough to let us play the intro, and it seems to have stuck with people ever since. This one feels natural, and it being heard first at a show rather than online makes us happy.”

Stuck with people is putting it mildly. Since that debut, “Look Into My Eyes” has been one of the most Shazamed and shouted-about IDs in the scene, with fans hounding the pair for a release date across every corner of the internet. Early DJ support has already come in from Max Dean, Gaskin, Sosa, and Alisha — a solid crew for a track that was practically engineered to close festivals.

The single follows the runaway success of “I’ve Arrived” featuring Tomike, which has racked up over 57 million Spotify streams and pushed the duo past 3.1 million monthly listeners. Fresh off a standout set at Parklife, Obskür now embark on a genuinely absurd summer run that takes them through Ibiza (multiple times, obviously), Croatia, New York, Montreal, Venice, Greece, and back home for Electric Picnic in Laois. If you’re anywhere near a dancefloor between now and September, chances are you’ll hear this one rattle a rig.
