The undead are back, and this time they’re bringing Battle Beast along for the ride. Rising modern metal juggernaut DOMINUM has unleashed “Night is Calling,” the title track and latest single from their forthcoming third album, which storms Napalm Records this Friday, July 3.

Fronted by mastermind Dr. Dead (aka Felix Heldt) and his zombie battalion — Tommy Kemp (guitars), Patient 0 (bass), and Victor Hilltop (drums) — DOMINUM have carved out one of modern metal’s most theatrical corners: part horror show, part arena spectacle, and entirely infectious. “Night is Calling” leans hard into all of that, stacking thunderous riffs, cinematic atmosphere, and a sing-along hook big enough to swallow a festival field whole. The kicker? A commanding guest turn from Marina La Torraca of Battle Beast, whose vocals turn the chorus into an absolute weapon.

Dr. Dead sums up the track with his signature gothic melodrama: “Night is calling. Always. It creeps in softly at first, like a whisper you almost don’t notice. Then it wraps itself around your thoughts — pulling, tempting, seducing.” It’s the kind of quote that would sound ridiculous coming from anyone else — but coming from a guy who leads an army of zombies, it lands exactly the way it should.

Produced by Heldt himself and mixed by Jacob Hansen, “Night Is Calling” the album expands the band’s twisted carnival with heavier riffs, bigger choruses, and even more cinematic drama. Expect anthems like “The Circus Is In Town,” “Doctor Doctor,” and “Dark Melodies,” plus a gleefully unhinged cover of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” — because of course. DOMINUM celebrate the release with shows at Rockharz Festival and Wacken this week before launching a massive European headline run this autumn with The Night Fright Orchestra, hitting Paris, London, Berlin, Vienna, Amsterdam-adjacent Utrecht, and beyond from November into December. A Loreley Freilichtbühne date opening for Judas Priest in 2026 is already on the books, too.
