Carter Faith and Wyatt Flores Team Up on New Duet “Nothin’ Better To Do”
Two of country music’s most compelling new voices have officially joined forces. Carter Faith and Wyatt Flores dropped their brand-new duet, “Nothin’ Better To Do,” today via MCA/Gatsby Records, and it’s exactly the kind of easy, magnetic pairing that makes you wonder why nobody thought to put these two in a room together sooner.
Written by Faith alongside Shane McAnally and Tofer Brown, the track lands as the second offering from Cherry Valley Forever, the highly anticipated deluxe version of Faith’s acclaimed debut album Cherry Valley, arriving July 24. Faith personally asked Flores to hop on the song, and the resulting chemistry between their two singular voices makes it clear he made the right call.

The release caps off a banner year for Faith, who recently earned a historic ACM Album of the Year nomination for Cherry Valley — the first debut album to score a nod in the category in a decade (the last being Chris Stapleton’s Traveller back in 2016). She’s currently out on Post Malone’s massive Big Ass Stadium Tour and will share stages with Chris Stapleton, Kacey Musgraves and Shaboozey throughout the year.
Cherry Valley itself was one of 2025’s most celebrated country releases, named Rolling Stone’s best country album of the year and landing at #17 on the publication’s Best 100 Albums of 2025, with additional accolades from Billboard, Stereogum, NPR Music and The Hollywood Reporter.
Flores, meanwhile, is riding his own considerable wave. Hailed by Billboard as “one of the genre’s most conspicuous new voices,” the Oklahoma-born, Mexican-American artist will release his sophomore album, Scared of Heights, on July 31 via Island Records/MCA. Produced by Charlie Handsome, Jacob “JKash” Hindlin and Gian Stone, the record leans into early 2000s pop and rock textures while keeping the raw, unfiltered songwriting that fueled his rise intact. With more than a billion streams to his name, a 2x Platinum certification for “Please Don’t Go,” and appearances at Stagecoach, Bonnaroo, Tiny Desk and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert under his belt, Flores is very much operating at full throttle.
Cherry Valley Forever features five new tracks in total, including “Nothin’ Better To Do.” Stream the duet now and mark your calendars for July 24.
