Co-written by Fairchild, Monroe, and Shelby Lynne, “Sucker For A Sad Song” opens the band’s forthcoming album It’s A Dying Art, out August 28 via MCA. It’s the kind of tune that struts more than it stomps — clever wordplay draped over a slow-burning groove, with Monroe’s honeyed harmonies slipping in like an old friend pulling up a barstool.
