Los Angeles quartet Return to Dust are having the kind of year most bands only dream about — and they just poured a little more gasoline on the fire. The buzzed-about rockers have unveiled the video for their new single “Sweet Escape,” and it’s exactly the kind of buzzsaw-guitar, ghostly-melody gut-punch fans have come to expect from Matty Bielawski, Graham Stanush, Sebastian Gonzalez, and London Hudson.

If you’ve been paying attention to Active Rock radio in 2026, you already know Return to Dust don’t do halfway. Their single “Bored” clawed its way to No. 1 on the Active Rock chart, they scooped up the iHeartRadio Music Award for “On The Verge,” and they turned OutKast’s genre-bending classic “Hey Ya!” into a moody, grunge-soaked reimagining featuring synth production from Puscifer’s Mat Mitchell. They’ll pick up a handful of rescheduled Yungblud dates stateside in late July before joining Theory of a Deadman and Sevendust for a massive North American tour that runs from August through the end of September, hitting everywhere from Duluth to El Paso to Bozeman.

Signed to Lava Records/Republic Records, the band has already shared stages with Chevelle, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, and Billy Corgan, and torched festivals like Inkcarceration, Welcome To Rockville, Sonic Temple, Rock am Ring, Download, and Graspop.
