If 2026 wasn’t already shaping up to be Brocarde’s year, the self-styled Duchess of Darkness just poured another cauldron of gasoline on the fire. The rising dark-rock artist has announced a brand-new collaboration with Alice Cooper’s longtime bassist Chuck Garric, with a duet single set to arrive later this year.

The two recently wrapped filming an appropriately explosive music video in Las Vegas — because of course a theatrical Brocarde x Garric team-up wasn’t going to happen in a quiet suburban cul-de-sac. According to the announcement, the collaboration sparked to life after Brocarde interviewed Garric’s band Beasto Blanco at Wacken Open Air. Struck by his commanding voice and stage presence, she later sent him a track she’d always heard as a duet. Garric didn’t need much convincing.

“Incredible song, great work. It reminds me a bit of musical theatre, which I love very much,” Garric said before laying down his vocals.

That “musical theatre” flag is a fitting one. Brocarde has built her world on dark, cinematic storytelling — a place where Edgar Allan Poe, Sylvia Plath and the Addams family might swap ghost stories over tea. Pair her dramatic, expressive delivery with Garric’s rich, gravelly growl, and you’ve got the makings of the kind of gothic showstopper you’d expect to close the second act of a haunted Broadway production.

The Garric team-up is only the latest in a run of rock-royalty co-signs for Brocarde. Whitesnake icon David Coverdale has called her “electrifying” and “powerful,” while Korn drummer Ray Luzier — a previous collaborator — has praised her distinctive songwriting and vocal style. Brocarde and Luzier reunited most recently on her single “Seven Sins,” which premiered at BraveWords on May 15.

All of this arrives on the heels of her debut album, Good Attendance At Sunday School, which is out now, and a genuinely on-brand paranormal investigation she conducted beneath the Apex Stage at Download Festival earlier this year. Between the ghosts, the guest features and the growing critical buzz, Brocarde is quickly cementing her spot as one of modern metal’s most intriguing emerging talents.

Details on the Garric duet are being kept firmly under lock and key for now, but if the pedigree is anything to go by, expect a dark, theatrical storytelling piece with plenty of teeth.
