For those unfamiliar, DJ Megadon — born Christiaan Cocroft — has been a mainstay of Milwaukee’s DIY scene since adopting his current moniker in 2021. From the Back Room at Colectivo to Quarters Rock & Roll Palace, he’s become the kind of reliable presence that every city’s underground needs. His work with Mid Coast MKE and the alt-hip hop collective Nocturnals Forever has kept him busy, but clearly not too busy to churn out a massive 34-track album.
