Goose Unleash Sixth Studio Album ‘BIG MODERN!’ and Apocalyptic New Video for “Good Times // End Times”

Goose have officially opened the doors to their strangest, most ambitious world yet. Today, June 12, 2026, the Connecticut-bred four-piece release their immersive sixth studio album, BIG MODERN!, out everywhere now via No Coincidence Records. It’s their third full-length in just over a year — a prolific creative run that began with Chain Yer Dragon, continued through 2025’s Everything Must Go, and now culminates in a record rooted entirely in the here and now.

Where the last two albums pulled from songs written across different eras of the band, BIG MODERN! is a dispatch from the moment — 15 tracks born out of Goose’s newfound creative and collaborative freedom. The album weaves effortlessly between heartland rock piano ballads, orchestral jazz interludes, 80s-tinged synth rock, and the searing, improvisational guitar work the band has built its reputation on. Haunting distortion collides with gorgeous choral harmonies, and pop grooves give way to moments of quiet unease. It is, in every sense, a Goose record — just louder, weirder, and more alive to the present than anything they’ve made before.

At the heart of it all sits the propulsive new single “Good Times // End Times,” an anthem for an apocalypse that never quite arrives. Shapeshifting between euphoric peaks and creeping dread, the track rides a doomsday-clock metronome into choruses of uncertainty. The official music video, directed by Will Thresher, premieres today on YouTube at 1PM ET.

“Thematically, it’s at the heart of this strange duality we’ve been exploring,” says frontman Rick Mitarotonda. “Intense beauty and deep gratitude right alongside real horrors. Moments of ecstasy that butt up against inner darkness and dread. It was fun to immerse in that musically, riding in the buoyancy of this experience we’re all having, until those flashes of questioning and doubt inevitably seep up to the surface.”

BIG MODERN! also delivers the intoxicating “Torero” and the already-ubiquitous “Good2B,” which this week leapt from #10 to #7 at Triple A radio — the second-biggest gainer on the Mediabase chart behind only The Rolling Stones. Rolling Stone hailed the track as “groovy and discombobulated…a vintage Goose jam,” and its rollout has already become the stuff of jam-band lore, complete with a guerrilla marketing campaign, Morse-coded website teases, and a courtside appearance at Madison Square Garden alongside Emmy-nominated actor Jake Lacy, with the band decked out in yellow hoodies spelling “FACE.”

The rollout continues tonight, June 13, as Goose kick off their 2026 Summer Headline Tour at Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre with special guest Julian Lage. The run features some of the most ambitious routing of the band’s career, including a two-night stand at New York’s Madison Square Garden (June 19-20), sold-out dates at Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion (June 30-July 1) and Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre (August 27-28), plus stops at Los Angeles’ The Greek Theatre, Saratoga Springs’ SPAC, and beyond. A fall headline tour launches November 3 in Kansas City, followed by top-billed sets at Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds: 10 Years on the Beach in Riviera Maya in January 2027.

$1 from every ticket sold on the 2026 Summer and Fall tours will benefit the Western Sun Foundation, supporting grassroots nonprofits in the cities Goose visits. Full tour details and tickets are available at goosetheband.com/tour.

BIG MODERN! is a record about being wildly, exhaustingly, exhilaratingly online — about identity as a brand, the nightly doomscroll, and the “synthetic, prepackaged human emotion on demand for your entertainment” that defines modern life. It’s awesome. It’s terrifying. And it’s exactly the album Goose were meant to make right now.
