Out today via Astralwerks, “Make Space” is a full-volume celebration of the communities keeping club culture honest. Ahad’s Skrillex and Priya Ragu collaboration “TAKA” went viral out of his debut Boiler Room set (the moment Skrillex popped up on-screen to debut it live is already club folklore) and picked up support from Peggy Gou, Fred again.., Four Tet, Dixon, and Chris Lake. BBC Radio 1 stamped it as Hottest Record, Essential New Tune, AND Track ID — a triple crown last pulled off by Calvin Harris’ “How Deep Is Your Love” in 2015. More recently, “Bass Dhol” featuring Raf-Saperra hit #1 on the UK Official Charts Company’s British Asian Chart, underlining just how far his cross-cultural reach now stretches.
