FaceLift Signs to Roux & Ruin Records, Drops Hard-Hitting New Single “Stone Cold Stunner”
Some signings feel calculated. Others feel like fate throwing an elbow. FaceLift landing on Roux & Ruin Records is definitely the second kind.
The Texas-based indie label with Louisiana roots has officially welcomed the Las Vegas two-piece to its growing roster — and to mark the occasion, FaceLift has unleashed a brand-new single called “Stone Cold Stunner.” It’s exactly as advertised: heavy, anthemic, and unwilling to tap out.

FaceLift is the project of vocalist David Tomlin and multi-instrumentalist Tommy Bradley, who handles pretty much everything that isn’t a microphone. Together, the duo occupies that increasingly rare sweet spot between hooks big enough to fill a room and riffs mean enough to clear one out. It’s aggressive without being one-dimensional, melodic without going soft — a balance a lot of bands chase and very few actually catch.
Label founder Adrianne Perrodin didn’t mince words about the signing. “When we found FaceLift, the decision to sign them was immediate. The kind of band you find once. We weren’t about to let that slip.” When your label boss talks about a band like that, it’s usually a good sign the rest of us should be paying attention too.
Roux & Ruin Records has quietly been building a reputation as a hands-on, artist-first home for post-hardcore, metalcore, and the heavier corners of the underground. Perrodin has been open about why the label exists in the first place — too many bands mistreated, overlooked, or left to figure it all out alone. Louisiana grit, Texas base, and a genuine respect for the artists on the roster. It’s a philosophy that lines up well with a band like FaceLift, who sound like they were built to grind it out and mean every second of it.
“Stone Cold Stunner” is the opening move, and if it’s any indication of what’s coming next, FaceLift and Roux & Ruin might have just kicked off one of the more exciting partnerships of the year in heavy music.
Hit play, turn it up, and keep an eye on this one. There’s clearly more on the way.
