Lee Greenwood Teams With Allied Flag for Limited-Edition Stars and Stripes Ahead of America’s 250th

If there’s one voice that instantly conjures a hand-over-heart, chest-swelling, cue-the-fireworks moment for American audiences, it’s Lee Greenwood’s. Now, the country legend behind “God Bless the U.S.A.” is putting his name on something you can actually raise up the pole in the front yard.

Greenwood has partnered with Allied Flag, one of the country’s leading manufacturers of 100% American-made flags, to launch a limited-edition collector’s edition Stars and Stripes. The flag arrives in custom packaging featuring Greenwood’s name and likeness, and it will be sold exclusively at Bass Pro Shops nationwide. The timing is no accident: the release is dialed in to coincide with the United States Semiquincentennial, the country’s 250th anniversary.

“I’ve always believed that the American flag represents the very best of who we are as a nation, our freedom, our faith, and the sacrifices made to protect it,” Greenwood shared in the announcement. “Partnering with Allied Flag to create something that’s proudly made in the USA and honors that spirit means a great deal to me. I hope this flag serves as a reminder of our unity and the pride we share as Americans.”

For Allied Flag, which is gearing up to celebrate its own 75th anniversary in 2026, the collaboration lines up neatly with the brand’s mission of building flags start-to-finish on U.S. soil, from the stars and stripes to the hems and stitches.

“Allied Flag was built on the idea that the American flag stands as a powerful symbol of freedom for every citizen,” said Tyler Young, President of Allied Brands. “Lee Greenwood’s lifelong dedication to our country reflects everything that flag represents, and we’re proud to partner with him as we approach this historic 250th anniversary celebration.”

Greenwood, of course, is no stranger to patriotic milestones. Across his career, he’s picked up multiple CMA and ACM Awards, a Grammy for “I.O.U.,” seven No. 1 hits, and a catalog that includes staples like “It Turns Me Inside Out,” “Dixie Road,” and “Ring On Her Finger Time on Her Hands.” But it’s “God Bless the U.S.A.” that has cemented his place in the American songbook, having climbed into the top five on the country singles chart in 1991, 2001, and 2003, the only song in any genre to pull off that feat, and cracking the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the wake of 9/11. Off the stage, he’s logged more than 30 USO Tours and received the Congressional Medal of Honor Society’s National Patriot’s Award.
