Zeeland Hardcore Upstarts Inherited Announce Debut EP ‘ALL 4 ONE’ and Drop Punishing New Video for “INHERITED”

From the isolated, sea-battered peninsula of Zeeland in the southwestern corner of the Netherlands comes a groove hardcore gut punch you didn’t see coming. Inherited — the young Dutch five-piece leading the charge for what they’re proudly branding Zeeland Hardcore (ZLHC) — have just announced their debut EP, ALL 4 ONE, out October 2 via Mascot Records. To mark the occasion, they’ve dropped a bruising new video for the single “INHERITED.”

Comprised of vocalist Jamie Versprille, guitarists Marvin Wesdorp and Midas Giele, bassist Lucas Camonier, and drummer Neill Ray — three of whom are still in their teens — Inherited are the sound of a scene that refuses to be overlooked. The new EP was produced by Robin Adams (Architects, Guilt Trip, Blood Youth) at his Leeds studio and mastered by Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood (Periphery), which should tell you everything about the sonic pedigree the band is chasing.

Hardcore quite literally runs in their blood. Bassist Camonier and guitarist Wesdorp are the sons of Ronald Camonier and Erwin Wesdorp of Zeeland death metal pioneers Polluted Inheritance, who laid the groundwork for the region’s heavy scene 30 years ago. “The song ‘INHERITED’ is about this,” Versprille explains. “It’s all about where we come from: our family, our blood, everything that shaped us. It is what we have been given, and we owe it everything. That’s why we carry that legacy forward.”

That sense of legacy and community isn’t just lip service. Formed in 2024, the high school friends played their sixth-ever show on the hallowed stage of Germany’s Wacken Open Air after winning the Dutch Metal Battle 2025 — a victory they secured by hiring a double-decker bus to haul 100 fans 200 miles from their hometown to the final. “It spread like wildfire. People were fighting for spots. The whole place was filled with our people. We were able to get everybody in the room jumping,” Marvin remembers. Obstacles? They only see opportunities.

Zeeland — the least populous province of the Netherlands, made up of islands and peninsulas largely below sea level — is central to their identity. “We want people to stand up and pay attention to Zeeland. It’s really isolated. Even people from the Netherlands forget about it. The only thing that connects us to the rest of the country is a five-mile tunnel. We’re proud to be from here,” says Jamie.

Across its five tracks and roughly 15 minutes of lightning-rod energy, ALL 4 ONE moves from the ancestral thump of “Inherited” to the ride-or-die anthem “Wasted Space,” the empowerment call of “Won’t Break,” and the emotional rally cry of the title track. “If you’re going through hard times, you help each other. Life can be tough, but we will always stick together,” Versprille affirms.

Forged in dive bars, skate parks, barbershops, French underground bunkers and Belgian youth chapels — and now headlining 400-cap venues with people spilling out the doors — Inherited have already shared stages with Pro-Pain, Dark Angel, Bodyfarm, and Master, and torn through Wacken Open Air, Dynamo Festival, and South of Heaven. “Inherited” will also be featured on BandCamper, a Dutch national TV show filming in spring 2026 that scours Zeeland for new musical talent.

Empowerment, perseverance, community, brotherhood, family — the bloodline runs strong. Get familiar now, because ALL 4 ONE lands October 2 via Mascot Records, and this is a scene worth paying attention to.
