Hatebreed Sign to BLKIIBLK Records, Announce New Zeuss-Produced Album and Summer Slaughter Tour 2026

If you thought Hatebreed were slowing down after nearly three decades of pit-stirring anthems and Iron Man touring, think again. The Grammy-nominated Connecticut hardcore juggernaut just announced they’ve joined forces with BLKIIBLK Records — the metal and hard rock imprint of the Frontiers Label Group — for their forthcoming ninth studio album, due out this fall.

The much-awaited follow-up to 2020’s Weight of the False Self is once again being helmed by longtime collaborator Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Accept, Shadows Fall), a producer frontman Jamey Jasta has known since his Pushbutton Warfare and Jasta 14 days. In other words, this isn’t a hired-gun studio pairing — it’s a family reunion with a mixing console.

“BLKIIBLK put together a dream team to get behind the new Hatebreed record and we couldn’t be happier — new label, new horizons, crushing new songs,” Jasta said. “We are beyond grateful and can’t wait to unleash these tracks on the world!”

Drummer Matt Byrne isn’t mincing words either. “2026 is the year of Hatebreed. This juggernaut as we know it is picking up the pace rapidly and is taking no prisoners.” Between multiple European festival runs, two separate U.S. legs of the Summer Slaughter Tour, and the new album dropping this fall, it’s hard to argue with him.

Jasta also gave some insight into what it was like getting back in the room with Zeuss for the ninth time: “His connection with Matt, Wayne, Frank, Carl, and me goes far beyond the producer’s chair. He’s been like a sixth member of this band for years. When you’re chasing something timeless, memorable, and meaningful, having that level of trust and understanding makes all the difference. From ‘I Will Be Heard’ to ‘Destroy Everything,’ ‘Looking Down The Barrel’ to now, ‘Decisions Become Destinies!’ We got another one Zeussky!”

Frontiers Records Global Head of A&R and BLKIIBLK Label Head Mike Gitter called Hatebreed “as vital and relevant a force as ever,” adding, “Jasta and Hatebreed aren’t merely about perseverance — they’re about bringing the sound of the extreme to a new level. We’re honored to be working together.”

The receipts back him up. The band’s track “Looking Down The Barrel Of Today” is closing in on 130 million global streams — their biggest career streaming song of the modern era — and they’ve moved over 1.5 million albums in North America alone. Not bad for a band that came up in Connecticut basements and backyards.
