Turns out bean bags can move mountains — or at least move the needle on cancer research. Country artist Craig Campbell just wrapped the 12th Annual Craig Campbell Celebrity Cornhole Challenge & Concert in Nashville, and when the final bag hit the board on June 10, 2026, the event had raised a record-breaking $35,000+ for The Kenny Campbell Foundation, benefiting colorectal cancer research and awareness.

Thirty teams packed the tournament this year, forcing organizers into a round robin-style bracket with timed games just to keep up with the flood of celebrity RSVPs. It’s the biggest turnout in the event’s history — both in dollars raised and in famous faces tossing bags.

“I’m blown away by the generosity of our fans and by the incredible group of celebrities and volunteers who made this happen,” Campbell said. “The phone kept ringing, and texts kept dinging from artists who wanted to participate. This was just incredible.”

In a plot twist worthy of a Nashville sitcom, the entire Campbell family — Craig, wife Mindy, and daughters Preslee and Kinni — got knocked out in regular play. The trophy and the year-long bragging rights went to rising country duo The Huffer Brothers, who apparently came to Nashville to throw bags and take names.

The 2026 celebrity roster read like a festival lineup crossed with a country radio countdown: Matt Thomas and Scott Thomas of Parmalee, Waka Flocka, The Swon Brothers, Thompson Square, Austin & Colin, Adam Sanders, Allie Colleen, Jake Hoot, Bigg Vinny, The Tolers, Noah Peters, Whey Jennings, Lewis Brice, Gracee Shrivers, Tori Rose, Miles Burris, and Trent Ellis — plus the full Campbell crew.

After the last bag was tossed, Craig closed out the day the only way a country show should end: with a free concert, which included a set from daughter Preslee. Every dollar generated from both the tournament and the silent auction rolls directly into The Kenny Campbell Foundation.

For those who don’t know the backstory, Campbell founded the organization in honor of his father Kenny, who lost his battle with colorectal cancer at just 36 years old. Colorectal cancer remains the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in both men and women in the U.S., and the foundation funds research hospitals and doctors working on both a cure and early-detection tools.
