Milwaukee’s underground dance floor keeps expanding its footprint, and the latest evidence lands courtesy of Club Ritual with CR006 — a two-track split from Moreit & Adrian More titled “Think Twice/With The Current.” If you’ve been paying attention to the city’s house and techno current (pun very much intended), you already know Adrian More has been quietly stacking a catalog of dusty, hypnotic productions that feel equally at home in a warehouse or a late-night headphone session. Pair him with Moreit on a single release, and you’ve got a record designed to reward both DJs digging for their next secret weapon and heads who just want to zone out and let the low end do the thinking.

“Think Twice” leans into that classic Club Ritual formula — swung drums, a bassline that refuses to sit still, and just enough grit in the mix to keep things feeling human rather than clinical. It’s the kind of track that sneaks up on a set, starts as a groove, and ends up being the moment everyone asks about the next morning. Flip it over for “With The Current,” which trades some of the swagger for a deeper, more meditative pulse. There’s a nice tension between the two cuts: one wants to make you move, the other wants to make you drift. Together they make CR006 feel like a proper statement rather than a throwaway 12″.

For a label that has been building its identity release by release, this is another confident step forward — and another reminder that Milwaukee’s dance music ecosystem is no longer flying under the radar. Stream the release below and grab a copy before the DJs hoard them all.
