On June 12, 2026, the Saskatchewan-born country star drops her new single “Lonely Weekend” via Dreamcatcher Artists/ONErpm — and if the past two heartbreakers were the ugly-cry chapter, this one is the “windows down, sunglasses on, texting your group chat” chapter.

Written by Tenille alongside Alex Kline and Autumn Buysee, and produced by Kline, “Lonely Weekend” follows the same all-female blueprint Tenille famously used on her double-platinum, chart-topping “Somebody Like That” — the first #1 country song ever written, produced, and performed by an all-female cast. In other words: history, but make it a habit.

“After releasing two really emotional breakup songs, I wanted ‘Lonely Weekend’ to feel like the turning point — the moment where you stop crying over someone and start getting confident, sarcastic, and honest about it,” Tenille shared. “It’s the kind of breakup song you blast in the car with your best friends while trying to convince yourself you’re fully over it… even if there’s still a little hurt underneath.”
