Milwaukee’s adopted indie-punk son Holy Pinto — the project of Canterbury, England transplant Aymen Saleh — is officially in his commitment era. After teasing the record earlier this summer with the wistful lead single “One Tattoo,” Saleh is back with the full-length that’s been quietly stealing hearts around the city: Wedding Season, due September 14, 2026.
If you’ve followed Holy Pinto’s arc from scrappy DIY basement fare to the Britpop-tinged, hook-forward songwriting NPR has been championing, Wedding Season is the record you’ve been waiting for. It’s a wide-lens indie-pop collection that trades in the anxieties, in-jokes, and quiet epiphanies of watching everyone you know pair off — all wrapped in the jangling guitars, sighing melodies, and gently punk pulse that have become Saleh’s calling card.
