Dazzling Killmen & Point Line Plane Close Out Caterwaul Fest — Plus Two Squid Pisser Tours Announced
SKiN GRAFT Records is having the kind of weekend that most independent labels only dream about — and, being SKiN GRAFT, they are naturally running the whole operation via remote control from abroad. Label boss Mark Fischer’s latest News Desk dispatch stacks three headline-grade stories on top of each other: a Midwest run pairing the recently reformed DAZZLING KILLMEN with the newly rebooted POINT LINE PLANE, a sneaky bonus track drop for die-hards, and not one but two full-length SQUID PISSER tours to obliterate what’s left of your summer.
Let’s start where the action is. This weekend, DAZZLING KILLMEN and POINT LINE PLANE are barreling across the Midwest before landing at Minneapolis’ Caterwaul Festival, where the two SKiN GRAFT reunions will close out the fifth annual edition of the fest. SKiN GRAFT is among the labels sponsoring Caterwaul this year, and while Mark can’t physically man a merch table, the bands themselves will be schlepping copies of their new records — DAZZLING KILLMEN’s “Dig Out The Switch” and POINT LINE PLANE’s self-titled debut LP — plus complimentary stickers for anyone within grabbing distance.
DAZZLING KILLMEN & POINT LINE PLANE tour dates:
Fri 6/5/26 — Chicago, IL — Sleeping Village (with BIG’N!)
Sat 6/6/26 — Madison, WI — High Noon Saloon (with The CROSSES!)
Sun 6/7/26 — Minneapolis, MN — Caterwaul Fest
Next up in the “Scratching the Glitch Department”: at the 11th hour, an error was discovered on the newly pressed POINT LINE PLANE self-titled CD, forcing an emergency repress that just barely made it to the band in time for the Chicago show. To make it up to fans hit by mailorder delays, SKiN GRAFT has stashed the CD-only bonus cut “Descender: 2003” inside the Bandcamp downloads folder for the “Point Line Plane” LP. Buy the album, redeem the download, and a 14th track suddenly appears — the original recording of a song the band would later re-record for “Smoke Signals.” It is not streaming anywhere else. Not even on the Bandcamp public page. Consider it a reward for actually paying for music.
And then there is SQUID PISSER, the noise-punk agitators SKiN GRAFT has been warning us about all year. They have two U.S. tours locked and loaded: the “Internal Violence Tour” running June 18th through July 2nd, 2026, followed by the sprawling “Tumors Across America Tour” from August 19th through September 13th, 2026. Between the two, they hit roughly forty stops — from Las Vegas dive bars to Muddy Roots Fest in Cookeville, Tennessee, from the Casbah in San Diego to Alex’s Bar in Long Beach and the Lost Well in Austin. If you live anywhere near a highway in the continental United States, they are probably about to play down the street from you.

If you want to help SKiN GRAFT cover its Caterwaul sponsorship from anywhere in the world — or you just want to make good on some very fine underground records — the virtual merch table is open at the label’s Bandcamp shop. And while you are catching up, POINT LINE PLANE’s blistering “Death Dance 2000” video, directed by original cover artist E*Rock and freshly remastered in HD, is streaming now on the SKiN GRAFT Records YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@skingraftrecords
Grab tickets, grab the records, grab the bonus track. It has been a rough 2026, but between reformed legends closing out Caterwaul and Squid Pisser threatening to piss on every zip code in America, SKiN GRAFT is doing its part to make it weirder — and louder.
