Made up of Raquel Cole, Dan O’Rourke, and Leland Rooney, The Woods have quietly built a devoted following opening for the likes of Tim McGraw, The Cadillac Three, and Clint Black. Cole, a British Columbia native, brings evocative lead vocals that anchor the group. O’Rourke — a New Jersey-born road dog who’s lived everywhere from California to Arizona before landing in Nashville — and Rooney, a Dallas kid sharpened on the Texas circuit, round out the harmonies with the kind of instinct you can’t fake.
