The GRAMMY-nominated, CMA and EMMY Award-winning Grand Ole Opry member returns with a fresh episode of LIVE WIRE on SiriusXM’s Prime Country Channel 58, premiering Wednesday, June 3 at 10/9c, with special guest — and fellow Opry member — John Conlee.

Known for his warm baritone and lived-in, plainspoken storytelling, Conlee has spent decades stitching himself into the fabric of country music with signature hits like “Rose Colored Glasses,” “Backside of Thirty,” “Friday Night Blues,” “Common Man,” and “Lady Lay Down.” Expect classic conversation, road-worn wisdom, and a handful of the genre’s most beloved live recordings.

Off the airwaves, Brown recently took part in The Grand Salute to the Troops at the Grand Ole Opry, honoring America’s heroes during National Military Appreciation Month. He shared the stage with Medal of Honor recipient Donald “Doc” Ballard, whose acts of valor in Vietnam — including throwing himself on a grenade to save his fellow soldiers — earned him the nation’s highest military honor along with three Purple Hearts.

“Sharing the stage with Medal of Honor recipient Donald ‘Doc’ Ballard was a meaningful moment for me,” Brown says. “Ballard’s courage in Vietnam is a testament to real service and sacrifice.”

Days later, Brown joined Billy Ray Cyrus on the Opry stage during Memorial Day Weekend for a stirring performance of “Some Gave All.”

“It was an honor to stand alongside men and women who have given so much for this country,” Brown adds. “Moments like that remind me why music matters — it brings people together, helps us remember, and gives us a way to say thank you.”
