The 22-year-old Nashville-based singer-songwriter has officially signed with MCA, marking a major new chapter for one of country’s most quietly compelling new voices. To mark the occasion, Kinsley has released “Pieces of Me,” an emotionally charged new single and performance video that lands like a page torn straight out of her journal.

Written by Kinsley alongside David DeVaul and Jack Hummel, and produced by Ryan Kohn, “Pieces of Me” is anchored by soulful vocals and striking imagery, exploring heartbreak, identity, and the lasting fingerprints that love and loss leave behind. “I started writing poetry as a way to process what I was feeling,” Kinsley reflects. “My family was dealt many cards over the years, both good and bad, and poetry had a way of making it all make sense. The silver lining became easier to find when I wrote it all down.”

That poetic instinct runs through every syllable of “Pieces of Me.” Kinsley describes the track as an admission — one she needed to make out loud. “Music is what saved my life, and so I tend to meet it at a place of confession, hoping it saves others along the way. With ‘Pieces of Me’ I finally get to admit that at times I was searching for something I can’t remember anymore, and that in and of itself is freeing. I encourage you to think of this song as a letter to time — that’s the truest way these lyrics are meant to be heard.”

Long-time listeners may already know Kinsley from her “Midnight Sessions” on YouTube — stripped-back, intimate performances that first drew audiences into her deeply personal songwriting. That same vulnerability has carried her from California, to her family’s land in North Carolina, to Texas, and now to Tennessee, where each chapter has quietly shaped both her perspective and her sound.

With the weight of MCA behind her and a debut single that already feels like a mission statement, Kinsley’s story is just beginning — and she’s inviting everyone to bring their own broken pieces along for the ride.
