Baby Jane Captures a Fading Dream on New Trance Single “Alone With You” feat. LONOWN

Baby Jane, the rising independent electronic artist quietly rewriting the rulebook on the fringes of EDM, has just dropped a shimmering new single called “Alone With You” — a trance-tinted collaboration with underground heavyweight LONOWN. Consider it the sonic equivalent of that split-second after you wake up, when you’re still clutching the tail end of a dream before it dissolves into your subconscious for good.

“It feels like the moment of waking where you remember the dream you had last night before it fades into your subconscious forever,” Baby Jane says of the track. And honestly, she nailed the brief. “Alone With You” glides on the same physical, pulse-quickening momentum that defines her sound, but glazes it in a dreamy, pop-tinted gloss that feels distinctly transitional — like the artist herself is stepping through a portal into whatever comes next.

The team-up with LONOWN is no random pairing. The Eastern European producer — currently sitting at #1 on TikTok with “Worry” and pulling in over 15 million global streams a week — is widely credited with dragging the “angelcore” microgenre into mainstream internet consciousness. His signature fusion of Eastern European techno and ethereal synthwave already crossed paths with Baby Jane’s universe back in 2025 on the akiaura-assisted single “Deathwish,” and this new collaboration deepens a creative bond that clearly transcends the algorithm.

“Working with LONOWN has given me a sense of community in this dark electronic space that feels unique to our generation and presence online,” Baby Jane explains. “I can feel a deep sense of similarity with our melodic and sonic palette.”

The backstory of the song is charmingly on-brand for a genre built inside bedrooms and Discord servers. Baby Jane fired off a demo of “Alone With You” to LONOWN last year, shortly after “Deathwish” dropped, then promptly forgot about it. A year later, a fully completed version landed in her inbox. “I’m so excited for people to hear this one as I think it really embodies where trance music is heading,” she notes.

While “Alone With You” is a standalone release and won’t appear on Baby Jane’s sophomore album Winter Forever, it lives in the same shadowy, snowbound universe. The record — out Friday, July 10 — arrives on the heels of recent single “Midnight Highway,” a dark-romance trance-pop cut that made it clear Baby Jane isn’t just riffing on angelcore, she’s actively reshaping it. Drawing from Russian pop classics and the raw, internet-born world of bedroom hardstyle, the album maps a spirit wrestling with nihilism before finding release through movement, rhythm, and total sonic surrender.

“An album that I started with the intention of expressing loneliness morphed into an album of escape and personal freedom,” she says of Winter Forever.

Between her viral HOR Berlin set, a standout appearance at Niteharts Festival, a Coven-strong Discord community, and monthly Spotify listeners closing in on a million, Baby Jane has spent the past six months making a very convincing case for herself as the face of internet-native EDM’s next chapter. “Alone With You” is a gorgeous little bridge to whatever she does next — a fading dream worth remembering before Winter Forever pulls us all under.
