Jason Aldean Locked In as First Headliner for 2027 Gulf Coast Jam Presented by Jim Beam

If you thought a Keith Urban headlining set was going to be the biggest moment of opening night at Gulf Coast Jam, think again. Just minutes before Urban took the stage in Panama City Beach on May 28, 2026, hundreds of lighted drones lit up the Florida sky to spell out the news country fans have been waiting for: Jason Aldean is the first announced headliner for the 2027 Gulf Coast Jam Presented by Jim Beam.

The 15th Annual Country On The Coast festival returns to Frank Brown Park June 3-6, 2027, and tickets are already on sale at GulfCoastJam.com. Additional headliners will be revealed in the coming weeks, but Aldean is a heavy-hitting way to plant the flag for next year.

Opening night of the 2026 edition drew more than 25,000 fans for a stacked lineup featuring Keith Urban, Jessie Murph, Wyatt Flores, Cooper Alan, Walker Montgomery, and Gannon Fremin & CCREV. Riley Green, Chris Stapleton, and Post Malone are locked in to headline nights two through four, joined by more than 15 additional artists across the week. Billboard has already named the event one of “The 10 Best Country Music Festivals,” and it’s easy to see why.

“This was an incredible first night of music,” said Gulf Coast Jam Presented by Jim Beam Executive Producer Rendy Lovelady. “We are so excited to kick off 2027 with Jason as our first headliner.”

Gulf Coast Jam COO Mark Sheldon echoed the excitement, noting the year-long effort that goes into pulling off the festival: “A year’s worth of effort goes into this event before the first note is played, and we can’t wait to have Jason Aldean back next year!”

The festival has sold out at 30,000 fans each of the past two years. Ticketmaster listed it as one of the Best Country Music Festivals to See in 2026, and Music Festival Wizard crowned it the number one festival in its Top 50 Most Popular Fests in the World 2024 Voter’s Choice poll, along with a nod as one of the Best Beach Music Festivals of Summer 2025.
