tAKiDA Unleash Aching New Single “Everything’s Wasted” and Announce 2027 European Tour with AD INFINITUM

Sweden’s arena-sized rock export tAKiDA are back — and they’ve brought a lyric video, a fresh single, and a European tour big enough to keep you booking hotels through 2027.

Out today, “Everything’s Wasted” is exactly the kind of heavy-hearted, melody-first anthem tAKiDA have spent more than two decades perfecting. Anchored by Robert Pettersson’s unmistakable voice, the track leans into the band’s signature mix of soaring hooks and gut-punch lyricism. Pettersson doesn’t sugarcoat the mood behind it either: “Surrendering to hopelessness and accepting hell as my new home.” Cheerful stuff — and yet somehow, the song feels cathartic rather than crushing. That’s the tAKiDA magic.

The single arrives on the heels of a serious hot streak. Their 2024 album The Agony Flame notched the band’s highest German chart position to date at No. 8, and lead single “The Loneliest Hour” hit No. 1 on the German Rock Airplay Charts. If “Everything’s Wasted” is any indication of where the five-piece is headed next, that trajectory isn’t slowing down.

Fans looking to hear it (and everything else) at full volume won’t have to wait long. tAKiDA are running a summer 2026 stretch across Sweden and Finland — including two nights at the stunning Dalhalla amphitheater in Rättvik — before launching the Section 7 Tour in January 2027. The 16-date run rolls through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with German/Swiss modern metal crew AD INFINITUM in tow as support.
