Siamese Cut Through the Noise with New Single “sense” — Album ‘dissolution’ Drops June 26

Siamese aren’t in the mood to play nice — and honestly, thank god for that. The Danish modern metal quartet just dropped “sense,” the latest single from their forthcoming full-length dissolution, arriving June 26 via Long Branch Records. It’s a track that plants its feet, bares its teeth, and dares the industry to look away.

“Sense is a song where the truth becomes a liability,” vocalist Mirza Radonjica explains. “There’s a constant pressure for the artist to self-censor in order to protect its business but at the cost of losing all of authenticity. Artists all over the world are being bent out of shape to fit into a lens that fits a collective narrative that’s acceptable, because a few powerful outlets decided it is.” Heavy words for a heavy song — and Siamese back every syllable up with riffs.

Following 2021’s Home and 2024’s Elements, and after racking up more than 100 million streams and sharing stages with the likes of Korn, Corey Taylor, and Dayseeker, dissolution is the record Siamese never intended to make but couldn’t sidestep. Written in the aftermath of losing one of their primary songwriters, the album forced the band to rebuild from the studs — less songwriting camp, more actual band. The result is heavier, more instinctive, more aggressive, and more introverted than anything in their catalog. At its core sits a knotted, deeply personal father-son relationship that gives the whole record its gravitational pull.

Along the way, the band leaned on a tight circle of collaborators — Zachary Baker, Mads Zelasny, Zach Jones, KJ Strock, and Paul Spirou — each sharpening the edges without sanding down the identity underneath. Twelve tracks deep, including a guest turn from Caskets on “reveries,” dissolution stands as the most comprehensive statement Siamese have ever put to tape.
