Marlon Hoffstadt & Morgan Seatree Turn “Breathe” Into the Summer’s Most Euphoric Banger
If you’ve been waiting for the dance track that finally tips your summer playlist over the edge, your patience has been rewarded. “Breathe” (Morgan Seatree & Marlon Hoffstadt Remix) is out today via Capitol Records, in partnership with Goodlife Management and MC3, and it might just be the most joyful four minutes you’ll hear all season.
When Marlon Hoffstadt first dropped “Breathe” in late March, METAL praised it as “a euphoric yet quietly melancholic track that mirrors the atmosphere Hoffstadt creates in his sets; moments where the dance floor opens up, not just physically, but emotionally.” This new version, reworked alongside Manchester-born wunderkind Morgan Seatree, doesn’t replace that emotional weight so much as launch it into the stratosphere. The melancholy is still there, hiding in the corners — but the dance floor has officially taken over.

The remix arrives with a freewheeling new visualizer featuring the same crew of L.A. friends from the original “Breathe” video, which is exactly the right energy for a track this generous and sun-soaked. It’s the sound of two artists who genuinely admire each other deciding to make something joyful together — and you can hear it.
“I am super excited this version of ‘Breathe’ is finally seeing the light of day,” Hoffstadt says. “Ever since playing Morgan’s ‘Say My Name’ in my sets, I knew I wanted to release a track with him at some point — he’s one of the most exciting new talents coming out of the UK and I’ve been a huge fan of everything he’s been putting out. ‘Breathe’ ended up being the perfect record for us to connect on, and I’m really happy we finally made it happen!”
Seatree, the 27-year-old DJ, producer and founder of Unfussy Records, returned the love: “This record together feels like such a natural progression and honor since we met through ‘Say My Name.’ He asked if I wanted to work on this with him and, of course, I said yes. He is an icon and someone I look up to and it’s a track I’m really proud of.”
That “Say My Name” reference, by the way, isn’t small talk. Seatree’s 140BPM edit of Florence + the Machine’s “Spectrum (Say My Name)” topped Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, hit No. 25 on the UK Official Singles Chart, and has racked up more than 209 million Spotify streams. Hoffstadt (a.k.a. DJ Daddy Trance) and Malugi famously played it during their now-legendary B2B at Boiler Room London: Club Heart Broken — the kind of moment that ends with everyone texting each other “who is this?” in all caps.
Named one of BBC Radio 1’s Future Stars for 2026, Seatree has been on an absolute tear: a Sonny Fodera remix of “Tell Me,” a rave-y reimagining of Calvin Harris’s “Blessings,” the Carla Monroe collab “Beat Is Jumping,” and the throwback rave anthem “Never Gonna Stop.” His 2026 calendar swings from Terminal V and Teletech to Pacha Ibiza, Creamfields, Parklife and his biggest UK headline tour to date.
Meanwhile, Mixmag recently called Hoffstadt “a global dance phenomenon, a defining DJ of the now” on a cover story — and he’s been spending 2026 proving it. His Coachella debut saw him invite more than 200 fans onstage at the Sahara tent, close out Weekend 1 with a surprise B2B with Anyma at Do LaB (LISA of Blackpink dropped by for Anyma’s “Bad Angel”), and debut his unreleased remix of KATSEYE’s “Gnarly” right before the group’s own set during Weekend 2.
This weekend alone, he’s hitting BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Sunderland, the KRANKBROTHER Street Party in London, and FLY Festival in Glasgow — and on July 8, he’s throwing a free rave at Amnesia Ibiza, because apparently he’s just like that.
