Jinjer Unleash Blistering Live Video for “Tantrum” from Sold-Out Oslo Show Ahead of 2026 North American Tour
Ukrainian progressive metal juggernauts Jinjer have just dropped a brand new live video for “Tantrum,” the steamrolling opening track from their most recent full-length, Duél, released in February 2025 via Napalm Records. The clip was captured on February 28 at the sold-out Sentrum Scene in Oslo, Norway, during another high-octane stop on the band’s World Duél Tour — and it might be the most convincing argument yet that Jinjer are one of the most dangerous live bands in modern metal.

The footage is exactly the kind of evidence you’d want to submit if you were trying to convict Jinjer of being absolutely untouchable on stage. Razor-sharp riffs from guitarist Roman Ibramkhalilov, the elastic low-end bounce of bassist Eugene Abdukhanov, and Vlad Ulasevich’s relentless drumming form the foundation, but it’s frontwoman Tatiana Shmayluk who steals every frame. She prowls the stage like she’s daring the crowd to look away, switching from soulful melody to throat-shredding fury with the kind of ease that makes the rest of the genre look like they’re still warming up.
The live video lands just weeks before Jinjer return to North America for their first headlining tour on the continent since 2024. The Duél Tour will hit 37 cities across the U.S. and Canada with Crystal Lake and Entheos providing support, plus marquee festival appearances at Vans Warped Tour in Washington, D.C. and Long Beach, California, as well as Inkcarceration, Upheaval Festival, and Festival Au Lac. It all kicks off June 5 at the Bronson Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.
“After a hugely successful run across Europe, Latin America and Indonesia, we’re beyond excited to bring the Duél album cycle back to North America for our first headline tour there since 2024,” says bassist Eugene Abdukhanov. “This final tour in support of Duél feels like the perfect way to close this chapter, and we’re coming with our biggest production to date to make these shows truly special. We can’t wait to bring this experience across the U.S. and Canada, reconnect with longtime fans and welcome new faces into the Jinjer family. With Crystal Lake and Entheos joining us, this lineup is going to be absolutely crushing from start to finish.”

Once the North American run wraps, Jinjer head back overseas in fall 2026 as special guests on Spiritbox’s Tsunami Sea UK + EU Tour 2026, an 18-show run with Dying Wish that kicks off September 12 in Glasgow and closes October 9 in Paris. On paper, pairing two of modern metal’s most genre-bending acts looks like a co-bill destined to flatten arenas — and on stage, it almost certainly will.
