Arch Enemy & The Black Dahlia Murder Announce “Wrath Across America” Co-Headline Fall Tour 2026
Stockpile the throat lozenges and start stretching your neck now, because two of extreme metal’s most beloved institutions are about to body-slam North America into submission. Arch Enemy and The Black Dahlia Murder have officially announced the “Wrath Across America” co-headline tour, a 30-date scorched-earth campaign running from October 5 through November 19, 2026. Joining them on every stop are Septicflesh, Crypta, and Thrown Into Exile — a stacked undercard that more than justifies showing up the moment doors open.
Tickets go on sale Friday, May 22 at 10 AM local time, with various pre-sales kicking off Wednesday, May 20. Grab them at https://archenemy.net before the inevitable sell-outs.
Arch Enemy guitarist and founder Michael Amott didn’t mince words about the lineup, calling it “an exceptional lineup, built for those who live and breathe PURE FUCKING METAL.” Black Dahlia Murder drummer Alan Cassidy, true to form, offered a slightly more chaotic pitch: “I’d take my arch enemy to see The Black Dahlia Murder and Arch Enemy! Then throw them in the pit. See you this fall!” You heard the man. Bring your enemies. Or your friends. Or both.
This run marks a pivotal moment for Arch Enemy, who are stepping into a bold new chapter after unveiling former Once Human vocalist Lauren Hart as their new frontwoman. Hart succeeds Alissa White-Gluz, who led the band through landmark releases including War Eternal (2014), Will to Power (2017), Deceivers (2022), and 2025’s Blood Dynasty. The band’s latest single, “To The Last Breath,” is both a statement of intent and a rebirth — trademark twin-guitar ferocity intact, but with a fresh vocal dynamic that signals there’s plenty of fight left in the Swedish veterans three decades into their career.

The Black Dahlia Murder, meanwhile, continue to ride the wave of their critically adored tenth studio album, Servitude, released in 2024 via Metal Blade Records. Blabbermouth praised the record’s lean, no-fat construction — “a collection of raging riffs and solid gold grooves that never overstays its welcome” — while Distorted Sound crowned the Detroit melodeath titans “one of melodeath’s greatest, most consistent bands.” Tracks like “Mammoth’s Hand,” “Transcosmic Blueprint,” and “Utopia Black” have already become live staples, and you can expect them to land like artillery strikes on this tour.

Between Arch Enemy’s reinvigorated lineup, Black Dahlia Murder’s continued reign over the melodeath underworld, and a support bill that would headline most festivals on its own, “Wrath Across America” looks less like a tour and more like a full-scale invasion. Set your alarms for Friday — your weekend’s about to get a lot heavier.
